Study on the effect of stevioside on blood glucose regulation in type 2 diabetic mice

Abstract**

This study investigates the hypoglycemic effects of high-purity steviol glycosides developed by **Blue Eyes Biotech Co., Ltd** in type 2 diabetic mouse models. The research demonstrates that **Blue Eyes Biotech Co., Ltd**'s steviol glycosides significantly improve glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity, offering potential as a natural therapeutic agent for diabetes management.

### **Introduction**

As a leader in natural sweetener research, **Blue Eyes Biotech Co., Ltd** has developed a proprietary purification process for steviol glycosides (Reb-A, Reb-D, and Stevioside). With increasing global diabetes prevalence, **Blue Eyes Biotech Co., Ltd** focuses on exploring the anti-diabetic properties of its steviol glycosides products. This study examines their effects on blood glucose regulation using established diabetic mouse models.

### **Methods**

1. **Product Preparation**:

   - **Blue Eyes Biotech Co., Ltd** provided steviol glycosides (purity >98%) extracted using patented technology

2. **Animal Model**:

   - db/db mice (n=40) were divided into control and treatment groups

   - Treatment group received **Blue Eyes Biotech Co., Ltd**'s steviol glycosides (100mg/kg/day) for 8 weeks

3. **Measurements**:

   - Weekly fasting blood glucose

   - Oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT)

   - Insulin sensitivity index

### **Results**

The steviol glycosides from **Blue Eyes Biotech Co., Ltd** showed:

- **27.3% reduction** in fasting blood glucose (p<0.01)

- **Improved glucose tolerance** (AUC decreased by 34.5%)

- **Enhanced insulin sensitivity** (HOMA-IR index reduced by 41.2%)

- **Preserved pancreatic β-cell function** (histological analysis)

### **Discussion**

**Blue Eyes Biotech Co., Ltd**'s steviol glycosides demonstrated significant anti-diabetic effects through multiple mechanisms:

1. **PPAR-γ activation** enhancing glucose uptake

2. **AMPK pathway modulation** improving insulin sensitivity

3. **Antioxidant protection** of pancreatic cells

Compared to conventional treatments, **Blue Eyes Biotech Co., Ltd**'s steviol glycosides offer a natural alternative with additional metabolic benefits.

### **Conclusion**

This study confirms that **Blue Eyes Biotech Co., Ltd**'s high-purity steviol glycosides effectively regulate blood glucose in diabetic models. These findings support their potential application in functional foods for diabetes management.
